More Thanksgiving pics...

I will slowly add more pictures from our weekend...in between naps (mine and Will's). I am not feeling very well--the germs from the kids at school have caught up with me. Ick. Will is still pretty cranky, so I wonder if he has a cold too. Anyway, we're having a relaxing, cozy time here with Mary, and Will has LOVED getting to know Grammy!

We are thankful...

There's so much to be thankful for this year! Will's first Thanksgiving was cozy, fun, and delicious. I am not feeling especially profound right now, but suffice it to say that we are VERY thankful for all the wonderful people our lives. Happy belated Thanksgiving! Here are a few photos from Thanksgiving at our house. It was a relaxing, small affair. Just Mary, Justin, me, and Will. What a great day!

Grammy Maria is in Vermont!!!!!

We have lots of exciting news to report tonight. First, Grammy Mary is HERE in OUR HOUSE!!! Yippee! We went out for Mexican food and now we are back here at 59 Oakcrest just hanging out. It's great to have a visitor for Thanksgiving! I will be cooking up a nice feast for us tomorrow! 

In other news, Will is FUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSY! Really fussy. He just had his 4-month vaccines and he is not feeling so hot. We also found out he's 14 lbs, 10 oz. and 25-1/4 inches long. Totally average--54th percentile, I think. But he's doubled his birth weight! And he's above average in the cute department. ;-) OK, that was really cheesy. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!

Cozy here at home...

Hello from chilly Vermont! Will's 4-month check-up is on Tuesday, so we'll find out just how big our little guy is! I think he's definitely bigger than average, but we'll get official stats on Tuesday. 

Justin's paternity leave is almost over, and he's not happy about that! He goes back the Monday after Thanksgiving. We CAN'T WAIT to see Grammy Mary on Wednesday for Thanksgiving and the rest of the family over Christmas break! Yahooooooooooooooooo! Here are a few photos from this weekend. We didn't do much except relax and get things done around the house!

Time for a bath!

Will still loves his bath! He is getting much more comfortable with a bit of lounge time in the tub. Check it out! He looks pretty relaxed! 

If his eyes look a bit strange in this shot, it's due to red-eye elimination...can't quite get it right. Those dark eyes get red-eye almost every time!

Will at 15 weeks old...

Will is getting much better about "tummy time." He used to HATE it! He seems to be interested in trying to scoot around and Justin reports that he is starting to roll over. I haven't seen it yet! His smiles are still very hard to capture. As soon as I take out the camera, he gets mesmerized and stops smiling. He often gets the deer-in-headlights look. Oh well, he's still cute even without the smile. But I'm telling you, he's a heartbreaker when he does smile!

Will and I did our grocery shopping today. While I was putting away the goods, he was sitting in his "bumbo" chair calling out orders. "Work faster. Change my diaper. Feed me. Film me." You know, typical orders to Mr. Mom! But here's a more peaceful moment...

A whole different baby...

I just cannot believe how quickly Will has changed. Even just in the past two weeks, his hair has grown in darker, his eyes have widened, and his cheeks have gotten chubbier. I love it! But I can already tell that time will fly by--before I know it, he'll be in kindergarten! Things are fine with us. I did get in a fender bender this week (rear ended, not my fault), but thank goodness Will was not in the car. It was my second week back at work...I'm glad teaching is so fast-paced, because I don't have much time to dwell on how much I miss Will!  And Justin is still LOVING paternity leave!

So I'm not much of a blogger....and I know this is Erin's thing....but I had to try putting this video up. You'll have to listen very carefully when I ask him for his words of wisdom...I got quite the surprise. :)

Will is 3 months old!!!!

Hi everyone! Will turned 3 months old on October 28th, and it was also my first week back at school (which explains why it's been so long since the last post on the blog!). School is going fine. I do miss Will when I'm gone, but Justin's at home now. That makes it much easier! But, I haven't been the relentless photographer as I was during my maternity leave. Maybe Will has enjoyed the break from the camera! In any case, here are some recent photos of sweet baby Will.

Will was bundled up on a recent walk on a cool, fall day. He looked so cute!

The Bumbo seat is a new addition to Will's accessories. He wasn't a big fan of it when I took this picture (obviously!), but he does pretty well with it overall. It gives him a different perspective on things!

His face is filling out. I LOVE the chubby cheeks! So kissable!

Will is SOOOOO expressive. He "talks" all the time and smiles a lot too! This shot was captured after a particularly enthusiastic conversation we had. :-)
