Will was welcomed to this world on Monday, July 28th, 2008. His brother Patrick was born March 11th, 2010! This blog is to help family and friends near and far see our babies grow!

A pumpkin carving party!
We are still trying to decide whether or not to go trick-or-treating tonight...it's just so yucky outside! I think we have one more year until Will kind of "gets" what's going on. He certainly doesn't right now! But, he looks great in his costume and had fun at our neighbor's pumpkin carving party. I neglected to take pictures of the actual pumpkin carving, but here are a few pics from today:

Sneak Peek!
I had to check and see if Will's costume fits him. It does! Oh my goodness, I'm in love with my LITTLE MONKEY!!!!
Outdoor trial run...
Had to check out the costume outdoors. Will was losing patience with me by this point. Oh, and I didn't put socks on his feet, so he may have been a little chilly!
Some creature took bites out of our pumpkin. Little #$&%!
Mom, can we go inside now?!
OK, if I give a fake smile, maybe she'll let me go inside and get out of this crazy outfit!
OK, I'm a little obsessed with the costume...
So, he didn't think he could move in this thing...
Then he figured out that he can, but he was a little shaky...
So he decided to sit down and play with the cat! (Will LOVES to use Peso's "cat dancer" to make him jump up!)
The many faces of William
Will and I had some fun this morning. He's so happy in the early morning--such an early bird! Wish I could be that way too! I had fun trying to capture his different expressions. He has so many!
Just a few more...
Our little model
I really need to get Will out on the modeling scene. He is in LOVE with the camera (if you catch him in the right mood). This is not three of the same picture. I have about 10 just like this. Will held this smile for about 15-30 seconds, just gazing at the camera. So funny!
Bath boy
Now that Will can stand up, he loves to watch the tub fill with water. He even tests the temperature! Check out that stomach and those thighs! Whoa, baby! :-) His dinner is all over his face in the first pic. He really needed that bath!
My helpers
Will loves to be in the kitchen when I make dinner! As long as I give him a "toy" and a drawer to explore, he's happy! He also likes to sample the items on the menu as I prepare them, so he gets a bit messy!
I had a craving for a beer this weekend. So Justin bought me not one, but two kinds of non-alcoholic beer. They were both NASTY, but it was a nice thought!
Pumpkin Patch
We went to get our pumpkin a couple weeks ago. It was a beautiful day! We didn't go through the corn maze and we didn't go on the hayride. Pretty exciting, aren't we?! ;-) We decided to just take a walk and pick our pumpkin the easy way...while drinking cider and eating a cinnamon donut!
Serious daddy. But Will looked away from the camera (even more so than in this picture) for all the other pictures I took!
Will loves the baby backpack. And Justin is proud of his pacifier tether--made with raffia. Pretty funny!

My spoon
Will likes to hold a utensil in his hand, even if he doesn't quite have the patience to use it...
A new toy!
Will loves the riding toys, but he's still a bit tentative with trying to move them on his own. He knows how to beep the horn, though! :-)
Our little imitator
Will loves to imitate what we do. Lately, he's been imitating coughs and sneezes. He imitated Justin's coughs a lot today, as you'll see here...

Do you like my haircut?
Will was in dire need of a haircut, he and Justin headed to the barbershop this morning. I love how his new "do" shows off his cute face! It's a little short, but it grows SO fast! There are more pics of Will and his wagon in the slideshow below! :-) I think he feels like a whole new man with his shorter hair!
Will's new wagon!
Will got a new wagon from Grandma and Grandpa. He also has some new duds from Grammy and Poppi. But those two things together (along with a beautiful fall day) and you've got a recipe for some cute pictures! Here are a bunch--I just couldn't narrow it down much!
Our little homey
We walked to our local grocery story late this afternoon to get a few things to bring to a dinner party. It was getting pretty chilly, so Will sported his fleece jacket and new stylish hat. The sun was in his face, so he pulled his hat over his eyes...fully over his eyes! When we finally hit the shade, he pulled his hat up so he could see, and this is how he wore it. Too cute!
Chunky Monkey
Will is actually quite heavy for me to carry these days, but I am not sure his chunkiness shows through in pictures with long-sleeved shirts and pants. Will had to sleep in summer pajamas last night (long story), so I took some pictures. Gotta love that chunky baby body! I remember when he barely took up any space in this crib! Time flies, time flies, time flies....I just can't believe how fast!

Just chillin' at home
Justin was highly disappointed that he couldn't watch the MSU-U of M game today at home...he had to resort to listening to it on internet radio. But, we did have a nice afternoon at home, with the TV playing a random football game and the radio playing the big game. Of course, the outcome was not what Justin wanted!
Here's a video of Will from today. To me, it's not the most exciting video, but I see Will every day! I suppose for those who are far away, it's these everyday moments that you want to see! Just hangin' at home...
My new hats
Will has a large noggin, so he needed new hats this year--the one I bought for him over the summer is too small! I found these at Baby Gap, and he tried them on this morning. Unfortunately, I need to return the ear flap hat, as he pulls it off, since it has no velcro or strings to tie. Bummer!
