Will likes Chinese food too!

Lisa (my aunt) sent me a link about a great little cart that sells Chinese dumplings and noodles on Church Street. I love Hong's Dumplings, but it had been a long time since we'd been there. It was gorgeous last Saturday afternoon, so we took a jaunt downtown for food and shopping. Will likes the Hong's food too (but I haven't yet found anything he DOESN'T like)! Thanks for the reminder about Hong's, Lisa! Yum!

Drippy Will

Will just sprouted a new tooth! It's not visible in these pictures, but it sure did make him cranky! His nose was quite runny too. Lately, he LOVES pushing around his toys on wheels, like his remote control car here. He prefers to play with this car when it's turned off and without the remote control part. It makes noises that scare him! For now, it's fun just how it it! Here are a few pics from a lazy weekend morning...

WT Will

Will is now officially standing up on his own! Hooray! He's a bit shaky, but he can do it! Here's some footage of Will, without a shirt, showing off his svelte physique!

Baby #2

So, I think all of our blog followers already know that I am pregnant again! I am 16 weeks along, and everything looks good so far. I do not really look pregnant yet--it just looks like I've gained weight or never lost the baby weight from Will (which I did, for the record!). :-) We will find out on October 16th if it's a boy or a girl. I like to get the surprise early!

I've changed the title of this blog in celebration of our news. It seems weird not to have it say William Thomas Sorenson at the top, but there's no way I can write two separate baby blogs. I'm already falling behind with this one.

Mr. Fix-It

Will was wearing some new Oshkosh overalls yesterday (thanks, Grammy!) that look a lot like Carhartts. So, when we made a quick trip to Home Depot yesterday, it was almost as if we'd dressed him for the occasion! We bought a rug for my classroom, and we didn't buy any tools, much to Will's dismay. :-)

Check out our new ride in the background! We love the Highlander!

Our big boy!

Will is really starting to look less like a baby, and more like a little boy. Exciting, but also a little sad! And his hair is soooooooo light! I love his smile right now... he has four teeth on top with only show when he's laughing, and 3 teeth on the bottom, which give him a bit of a Jack-o-Lantern type of look...a bit off center. Super cute. He gets terrible red-eye in every photo indoors--it's those DARK eyes, and the red-eye fix makes him look a little strange, but here are some cute recent photos.

Our little blondie, waiting for dinner. He NEVER refuses food!

A more serious Will.

Standing up!

Justin was talking on the phone, so Will was on the phone too! His phone is actually a remote, but he's got the general idea!

He crawls!

So, after a lot of coaching from cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and great grandparents, Will finally started to crawl. He built the necessary muscles due to the training he had in Michigan, then as soon as we got back to VT, he put it all together and crawled! Woo hoo! He's was a late crawler at 12 months, 2 weeks old, but he's doing it now.

Other Will updates since my last post (I know, I know, BAD momma--over a month without a new post!!!!)...he went to the pediatrician two weeks ago and weighed in at 22 lbs, 14 oz, and I am willing to bet he's 23 lbs+ by now. He is 30" tall, as of his last check-up. He's also become quite giggly and animated. I will try to catch it on video. It's pretty hilarious.

Here's a video of Will crawling...a little bit. He slips on our wood floors, but if he really wants to get somewhere, he can do it!!!! He's pulling up on things too, so I don't think it'll be too long before he's a real terror! :-)
