Christmas Day ended with a group bath. Will loved it, but he wasn't used to sharing his bath experience!

Julia kept things happy!
A little after-bath ride!

Kristin gave Will an airplane ride!

Santa comes to daycare!

Here are a few pics of Santa's visit to daycare on Friday. I can't believe I sat on Justin's lap for these photos. What was I thinking?! I should NOT be in the foreground of pictures right now. :-) Will is afraid of Santa, as you will see in these pictures. Will also got into some mischief this morning, as you will see in the slideshow!

Inching closer...and fun with Peso!

Will is truly fascinated with our tree. He keeps getting closer...and closer... and closer! But not TOO close!

Will also has a fascination with Peso. He thinks it's HILARIOUS when Peso climbs into baskets for a nap. He loves to peer at him from above and push him around the floor. He cracks himself up!

Thanks, Grammy and Poppi!

We got a great package last week from Grammy/Maria and Poppi! Will got lots of great stuff, including lots of new clothes, which he has been wearing every day since. In fact, our daycare provider's husband said to me the other morning, "Is Will here for daycare or the fashion show?" :-) He meant that in the nicest way possible! But I have to agree he looks like a little preppy boy with his sweaters and cords. So cute! He thought he should call to say thanks...
OK, I know I can figure this out!

Hmmm...maybe if I try from this angle it'll work!

Hello? Oops--I called the help desk in India!
One last try or I'm giving up and going to bed!

Bananas!

Will's monkey costume for Halloween was SO appropriate, since he loves bananas so much! These were taken last weekend. I've started giving him the whole banana, since he knows not to eat the peel. He loves it!

Gears!

Will loves this gear toy from Grammy and Poppi. He was so satisfied with it in the box that he didn't even know how to contain his excitement when it came out of the box! When he first tested it while in the box, he'd look absolutely amazed every time the gears would start to move and he would say, "Ooohhh!"

The photo below keeps inserting itself sideways, and I've spent WAY too much time trying to fix it. But it's cute and I want to include it. So turn the computer monitor on it's side or just turn your head! :-)

Dinner out

We went out to eat downtown last week. We were eating by 5:15--the early bird special! :-) Or, the "people with young child special," really! We ordered Will's first official kids meal. He loved it and was very polite at the restaurant...if you ignore the eating with his hands thing. He really did try hard with the spoon and fork!
Aww! Daddy and son chowing down.

Mom! My mouth is full and this spoon is HUGE!
Will insisted on making this GOOFY face every time!

Will's relationship with the Christmas tree

Will remains cautiously interested in our tree. And I continue to hope it stays this way, so as to avoid tree catastrophe! The tree absolutely dwarfs him (but any tree worthy of our high ceilings would)! Peso is thankfully not too adventurous with the tree either!

Blueberry pancakes

I made blueberry pancakes for my boys yesterday morning. Will was GIDDY about them!

O Christmas Tree

I wanted to wait for snow, but we decided to get the tree today even without it. We wanted to have some time to enjoy the tree before we leave town for Christmas! It's up and decorated, but looks lopsided to me. Nothing that can't wait until tomorrow to be fixed!

Will slept through most of it, as we ended up getting to the tree farm during his nap time. Oops! He seems cautiously interested in the tree. He's curious, but doesn't want to get too close. I hope he stays that way! And Peso really doesn't care about it at all. I will put the finishing touches on the tree tomorrow. Here are a few photos from our trip to the tree farm minus snow.

Christmas in November

We celebrated Christmas with my parents while they were here for Thanksgiving...well, they gave us gifts. Oops. I didn't know they would be bearing gifts for anyone but Will. Sorry, mom and dad--UPS will arrive sometime between now and December 24th! :-) Will loves his new toys--especially the shopping cart walker and the toy trucks. He's zooming around like a crazy guy now!

Aww! Grandma and Will. One of the best, most genuine smiles I've captured on the camera in a while now!

Will is starting to become interested in opening gifts...sort of.

Yeah, books!

Will wasn't sure what to make of this adorable pillow/stuffed animal. I personally love it and may use it as my attachment object. ;-)

More from Thanksgiving Weekend

Just some random pics to share...

Never to early to start playing video games, right?! Ha ha ha. You know that's not REALLY how I feel!

Our friends Veronica and Mike were in town and we hadn't seen them for YEARS! They adopted a baby (Zachary) on July 31st, 2008! He's only 3 days younger than Will! They were cute together, except Will needs to learn to share.

This was when they were getting along...I should say, when WILL was able to handle sharing his toys! :-)

Please be nice. The shirt/camera flash combination seems to accentuate the belly. It really doesn't look like a massive beer gut in person. I couldn't keep my maternity jeans up, but I knew I'd need to wear something stretchy in anticipation of the DELICIOUS dinner we were about to have at Trattoria Delia with Veronica and Mike. Yum!

Grandpa and Will

I don't know how these didn't get posted during my last posting session. They are TOO cute. Gramps and Will got lots of QT...and so did Grandma and Will, of course!
