After a nap this afternoon (Will in his crib, me on the couch, and Justin/Patrick on the deck), we decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. We encountered a bunch of friends throwing a football in the street with their kids playing in the yard. So, we stopped and hung out for a bit. Then we saw our friends Carol and Brennan in their yard and chatted with them. Finally, we wandered down to the neighborhood beach to get some photos of Will and Patrick in their matching sweaters...which turned into an hour of relaxation in the sun. I love this place! (And we got some fantastic photos!)

When I look at these pictures of you on the banks of Lake Champlain, I remember the breezes coming off the lake, the majestic mountains looming over us to the east, and the waves breaking at the shore. Yes, you live in a magical place! A place perfect for you two to swim,dive off bobbing rafts, throw sticks into the water, motor on boats, and build forts on the beach. Please wait for me, as I want to join you!!!!

Erin, you should totally find matching sweaters for your 2011 Holiday card. Hilarious! The Maloney clan will make it to Vermont soon An early summer trip would be awesome.
