Happy 2nd Birthday, Will!
Our lives changed in a wonderful and amazing way two years ago today. Over the past 32 hours, I've been fondly remembering the stages of labor (OK, 7 pm on July 27 until approximately 8 a.m. on July 28th were pretty painful). At the current time (about 9:30 a.m.) on July 28, 2008, I had finally received an epidural and was trying to rest before the pushing stage. At that point, the hard part was actually over--the epidural made the final stages of labor breeze by--although I didn't feel that way then. I started pushing around 11:00 a.m. and at 11:22 a.m. William Thomas Sorenson joined our family. He was a beautiful (GORGEOUS) baby and is now a handsome, charming little boy!

Happy Happy 2nd Birthday my dear William......
Sitting on the porch at Camp Hancock two years ago, we received the news that a beautiful baby boy had been born....we gathered our belongings and headed East....to you!
We were over the moon with excitment! Your daddy met us with the biggest smile, guiding us to you, and your mommy. And there you were....I unwrapped your blanket ( which I still have today)and let out a sigh....I couldn't believe you were really here...
And today, I still can't believe how lucky we are to have you in our lives. Now fast forward...two years old already!!!! I'm going to let all the pictures we've taken speak for themselves....but the one event that will stay with me forever...is dancing with you in the rain.....
And I'm looking forward to the day that just you & I swim to the raft together....and there, I will tell you your story.
