I forgot the camera for Tree Hunt 2010! Thank goodness for camera phones! We took our annual trek to White's Tree Farm in Jericho, VT--our favorite place to cut down a Christmas tree. It was Patrick's first tree hunt, so we took him out of the car for the occasion, although it was COLD! Will was more into it this year than ever, and he kept saying, "Christmas tree and lights!? Go get a tree!?" So that made it all the more exciting. Due to the lack of camera, I took photos of Justin/Will on my phone and Justin took photos of me/Patrick on his. Here's the first batch of photos...
Oh, I should mention that the tree is in the house with lights on it but it's not decorated. Patrick doesn't seem too interested in it, which is a good sign. I hope he will admire it from afar! :-)

Did you pick that pretty Christmas tree out all by yourself? I bet you had a wonderful time tramping through the snow! I can see you you now, bending down to make sure the trunk of your special tree was straight....ahhhhhh, it's a good thing you brought daddy along to pull "her" through the snow,
back to the car, and into the house.
I bet "she's" standing tall now, filling your house with a wonderful fragrance. Will, just a little secret between you & me......when I was small, I'd lay under our Christmas tree for hours on end, marveling at "her" beauty, and taking in every breath of that glorious pine scent. It's still a memory I hold dear in my heart.
When you come to Michigan, maybe we can lay under our tree together (ok, Patrick and Elliott can join us) and watch "her" twinkle, and smell "her" boughs. Maybe "she'll" tell us a story!!!!!!
