Justin and I splurged for the week after school got out and paid for daycare. The goal was to catch up on things around the house--Justin wanted to work on our bathroom renovation and I wanted to tackle the never-ending laundry pile, among MANY other things. We did get lots done, but we also took a few hours here and there to just relax and be together. It's not often just the two of us anymore. It was quite refreshing...

| We took the boat out from Burlington Harbor to Juniper Island--a small island in Lake Champlain. We did not go on the island, we just anchored near it and floated. This is when we first left the boat launch. |

| The breakwater (where the lighthouse is) is usually about 3 feet above the water. Although the lake level has gone down, it is still high--only about a foot of the breakwater was visible last Monday. |

| It's a modest boat, but it's our yacht! I love getting out on the water without having to exert TOO much energy. Kayaking is great, but this is a whole different experience! |
