Will was welcomed to this world on Monday, July 28th, 2008. His brother Patrick was born March 11th, 2010! This blog is to help family and friends near and far see our babies grow!

My Dear Will, Today is another milestone in your life.....your 1st birthday! A year ago Poppi & I began our trek east to welcome you into our family. As we entered the hospital to greet you, there was your exhausted, but happy dad waiting to guide us to you.....his sweet little boy. Your mom was beaming, as we gently unwrapped you from your blanket (oh,by the way, I still have that blanket!).Together, we all marveled in silence ( ok, we were laughing & smiling as well) at your very existence. It was the most wonderful and heartfelt moment! We knew then that we would travel over mountains, across rivers, through forests, and many states to become a part of your world. So today, I want you to know just how much we love "our little boy"......you are a true treasure. I love you William. xoxoxoxo maria & poppi
