Today was my "Sunday Funday," a day during which I TRIED not to do school work. (I succeeded until about 8:00 p.m.). I did almost all the not-so-fun tasks yesterday so that we could fully enjoy today. Here are some photos from our trip to Chapin Orchard in Essex. It's a gorgeous place with delicious apples! It was surprisingly warm today, so the boys were a bit sluggish. But, that did not stop us from picking a half bushel of apples! Yikes! You will also see my attempt at getting a portrait type photo of the two boys together...since neither would look at me, it didn't quite work out. But they're cute anyway!

Dear Will & Patrick,
What a wonderful fall excursion.....sitting on bales of hay, riding on a tractor, picking ripe juicy apples from an orchard when only a short time ago you were sitting in sand, riding bikes, and eating watermelon!!! Soon winter will be upon us, and you'll be playing in snow, riding on sleds, and eating Christmas cookies.........and then there's spring! So much to discover when your lives move through four seasons in a blink of an eye!!! Enjoy every one, as each offers something new and wonderful.
Watching the two of you grow and change is exciting for me. Each season marks a milestone of activity in your lives.....and I can't even begin to tell you how much I love watching it all unfold.
