Florida, April 2011

Since this blog will become a printed photo album (eventually), I cannot leave out important happenings even if they did happen a while back. So, here it is the end of August and I'm blogging about a trip that happened at the end of April! I know I never included these photos, as I just found them on my phone earlier this week.

We took a trip to St. Pete Beach, Florida for our April break this year. We met Mary and Poppi there, and we had three days with just the six of us until we met up with Justin's aunt and uncle--Jack and Deborah. What a fantastic week! Here is a sampling of our adventures...

Before we stayed at Jack and Deborah's house, we stayed at the Coconut Inn. Lovely!
Another view of the Coconut Inn.
Checking out St. Pete Beach.
We had PERFECT beach weather!
Adirondack chairs, far from the Adirondacks...
Well, at least I'm happy!
Bill wasn't crabby, but they had to act crabby to go along with the restaurant's name!
Mary and I took a walk on this hidden gem of a beach, and we found great shells!

Will had this look on his face while wearing his sunglasses. Too funny!
Just look at that water!
This was part of our normal walking path on St. Pete Beach.
Outside the Coconut Inn with Patrick and Poppi!
Will pretended to fish with a pool noodle while we packed up and got ready to go to Jack and Deborah's house.
The front (water side) of Jack and Deborah's house. It was a great place to stay, to say the least!
Will was THRILLED with Jack's boat. Justin too!
On the top deck.
We got away for a kayak voyage in the Intercoastal Waterway to a  wildlife refuge--Shell Key Preserve. Pristine!
Happy to have some time without kids!
What a view from the roof top deck at Jack/Deborah's house!
