I am not quite there yet as far as blogging it, but our trip to Michigan was definitely the main excitement of our summer. Getting there and back--not so exciting. It's a long drive, and there's no getting around that! Will has become quite the seasoned traveler. This was his best car trip yet--and I think the iPad had a LOT to do with that. Also, he's older and can entertain himself pretty well with books, naps, and looking out the window. Patrick, on the other hand, was really only "good" when he was sleeping. While awake, he was constantly in need of something--a pacifier, a snack, a drink, etc. It's just the age. So, I figure next summer we'll be in very good shape--Patrick will be 2-1/2 and Will will be 4. All we'll need is another iPad. ;-)
